At Hope Vineyard Church
We want to be adventurous and joyful givers who imitate Jesus in radical generosity.
When we give sacrificially we are trusting God with our resources, worshipping him as above all things, breaking the hold money can have over us and investing in God’s loving purposes for the world. You are invited to join us as we practice becoming increasingly generous. Everything we do as a church is entirely funded through the generosity of those who call Hope Vineyard home. If you are a part of the Hope Vineyard family we’d encourage you to give regularly.
Of all the funds we receive as a church we give away 22% to causes that don’t directly benefit us (this includes some of our compassion initiatives such as Small Steps). Recently we have given money to local initiatives such as Oxford Schools Chaplaincy and Renew Oxford.

Getting started with giving
- We’d encourage you to ask God what to give. The Bible talks of the principle of tithing (regularly giving 10% of each of our income), which Jesus validates. It may seem like a step of faith, but our experience has been that this has laid the foundations into us becoming increasingly generous givers.
- Giving through the links on this website is best, as it allows Hope Vineyard to collect gift aid for those eligible, enabling the church to reclaim 25p for every £1 given, as we are a charity. If you’d prefer to give in another way please send an email to finance@hopeoxford.org
- Once your giving is set up using the form below, our database (an online platform called ‘ChurchSuite’) will send you a confirmation email, and it allows you to keep a track of your giving, and make changes too.
Thank you. We are very grateful.
